Data Security

At Hirabl, security is our priority.

Hirabl is a data analysis platform. Most of the information we collect is non-sensitive contact and event data - the same kind that’s available through public directories, Internet searches, or reputable third party sources. We also collect sensitive customer information that must remain private and secure. We state this in our Terms of Service.  The Terms of Service govern subscriptions to our platform, but read on for some information and detail about our security practices.

Secure data storage.

Our data is stored in multi-tenant storage systems accessible to our customers only via the Hirabl platform. What does that mean for our customers? No end-user or other customer has direct access to the underlying information. Period.

Data Encryption.

Hirabl encrypts customer web sessions in transmission leveraging a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificate with a 256-bit AES key.

Physical Security.

We don’t host any production infrastructure within any of our corporate offices.  Our offices weren’t designed for that (and most others’ weren’t either for that matter…)

We outsource hosting of product infrastructure to industry leading data centers in the United States and Europe, that provide high levels of physical and network security, and maintain various levels of audited security including SOC-2 and ISO compliance. Access to these data centers is strictly controlled and monitored by 24x7 on-site security staff, biometric scanning and video surveillance.

Employee Access Management

All employees undergo a background check prior to formal employment and receive security training. They also sign a non-disclosure agreement with Hirabl. Hirabl employees are granted access to systems and data based on their role in the company or on an as-needed basis.

Third Party Certifications and EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework

Recruit Tracker, Inc. complies with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information transferred from the European Union to the United States.  Recruit Tracker, Inc. has certified to the Department of Commerce that it adheres to the Privacy Shield Principles.  If there is any conflict between the terms in this privacy policy and the Privacy Shield Principles, the Privacy Shield Principles shall govern.  To learn more about the Privacy Shield program, and to view our certification, please visit https://www.privacyshield.gov.
